General Overview
First of all, I must say that I do not know what happened to Cécile Denise Acosta Reynaud, and that I do not have anything to do with her disappearance.
Out of the blue, without expecting it at all, just after I came to know that she was supposed to be missing, I was illegally arrested and imprisoned. I came out of jail to face a trial conducted in a language I cannot understand, and where I see things develop at court from such a distance that I cannot even hear anything. With no job and no work permit, surviving thanks to the few people who help me economically, who rent a house to me as a favor, who defend me at court almost for free.
It is almost impossible for me to get official Mexican documents which are needed for my trial. It is utterly impossible to get the electronic signature needed to earn money legally if I work in Mexico. In more than eight years I have not been allowed to leave India even once. With the exception of the lockdown period due to the Covid-19 epidemics, my trial has been always supposed to finish either “within three to six months” or “in a maximum of three months”, which prevents me to make any long-term plans: I live in a “three months” limbo which has lasted more than eight years.
Moreover, as I mention in the Introduction and I treat briefly later, there has been a harsh defamatory campaign against me, to which I cannot reply before the end of my trial or, even better, after leaving India.
